The entire Ikarov Botanical product line is now certified with the international quality seal for natural and organic cosmetics - NATRUE, which is one of the most stringent in the world.
Currently the term "natural or organic product" is not legally defined, making the abuse with this term common in the cosmetic industry. True to ourselves, we want to honestly and reasonably call our products "natural", and for this we turned to an independent and reputable organization to confirm it.
Natrue is the first internationally recognized quality seal for natural and organic cosmetics, which has built strict requirements for product's formulations and packaging in a consistent and transparent way.
Natrue has three certification levels:
- Natural cosmetics
There are strict rules for ingredients and their processing. The 100% natural ingredients do not have to come from organic agriculture.
The following Ikarov series have this certification level: Botanical Face Care, Botanical Scalp & Hair Care, Botanical Slim Care, Botanical Hand & Nail Care, Botanical Pure Oils. - Natural skin care with organic portion
The product is 100% natural, however at least 70% of the ingredients have to come from certified organic agriculture.
The following Ikarov products have this certification level: Nourishing Hair Oil. - Organic skin care
The product is 100% natural and at least 95% of the ingredients have to come from certified organic agriculture.
The following Ikarov series have this certification level: Botanical Mum & Baby Care, Botanical Pure Butters, Botanical Hand & Nail Care.

The non-profit organization Natrue sets the strict criteria and independent certification companies inspect each product ensuring that it’s met. The certified products are audited every two years.
